Privacy Policy
Effective October 30, 2026. This policy covers vote4wolf.org and votarporlobo.org, run by Wolf Croskey for Pittsburg City Council 2026 (“the campaign,” “we”). It explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Only what you give us in a form on this site:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- your street address, if you order a yard sign or host a meeting;
- what you write to us: questions, messages, endorsements, and a photo if you add one;
- event RSVPs, volunteer interests, languages you speak, and T-shirt size.
We do not use advertising trackers or sell ads on this site. Embedded videos load from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) domain.
How we use it
- To do what you asked: deliver your sign, confirm your RSVP, schedule your meeting, answer your question.
- To keep you informed about the campaign and ask for your help, including requests for donations.
- To publish an endorsement only when you have checked the box saying we may.
Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, you consent to receive calls and text messages from the campaign, including messages sent by campaign volunteers through a peer-to-peer texting platform. Message & data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Messages may include requests for donation. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also email info@vote4wolf.org or call (925) 415-6076 to stop calls and texts. Giving your number is never a condition of volunteering, endorsing, attending an event or getting a sign.
Text messaging opt-in data, consent and related collected personal information will not be shared with or sold to any third parties, unless required by law.
The texting platform and our database host handle phone numbers only to deliver the campaign’s own messages and store our records. They may not use them for any other purpose.
Contributions
Contributions are processed by our payment provider, which handles your card details; the campaign does not see or store them. California law requires campaigns to report the name, address, occupation and employer of contributors who give $100 or more. Those reports are public records.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- We do not share it with other campaigns, parties or organizations.
- We do not publish your contact details. Endorsements and the yard-sign wall show a first name and neighborhood only, and only with your permission.
Keeping it safe
Form submissions are stored in a private database that only campaign staff can open. Public pages can read only approved endorsements, published events and yard signs, and never contact details.
Your choices
Email info@vote4wolf.org to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We will do it unless the law requires us to keep it, such as contribution records.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. We will not use information in a new way without your consent.
